Such a delightfull week. Everything goes so fast! ❤

Georgia grows more and more into her role. She is very loving and super careful with her puppies. Feeling so comfortable in her role, grandma Abby is even allowed to visit in the whelping box.

The puppies are growing well and their nails are trimmed regularly… Since day 8/9 they try to place their paws under their body more and more and they try to move “walking”  instead of crawling. Relaxing is also one of the favorite activities.

They eyes open between 10-14 days. On day 15 all puppies’ eyes opened.
In the morning the eyes of the male with the orange ribbon opened. In the afternoon the eyes of the female with the red ribbon opened and in the early in the evening the eyes of the male with the blue ribbon opened. The ears are also almost completely open…
I noticed, they can already hear some sounds. While dreaming there is wonderful moaning, but also occasionally barking and little shocks of their bodies. It’s really funny to watch.

Because of the puppies growing so well, the color ribbons have now been replaced by a larger size.

While I clean the whelping box, the puppies stay in the nylon crate for a while, because their basket became a bit rwijl ik de werpkist erschoon,  verblijven de puppies eventjes in de nylonbench, want het “bakje” cramped.  😉

Georgia patiently awaiting her puppies, after me cleaning the whelpingbox…
